We're looking into an obedience
We're looking into an obedience class for Homer. A lady at the park recommended Joyce Morgan's Dog Training Center. It's located close to where we live, but looking at their web site, I am a little concerned. It's a bit too, er, pink! Not just any pink, either, but a sort of old-lady rose. Also, their Hall of Fame is listing five poodles and five mini schnauzers - they also list a Bernese Mountain Dog, so maybe there is hope.
I don't particularly care for toy (any breed with the word "miniature" in its name) and coifed dogs (i.e. poodles, yorkies, etc.) I prefer a dog that looks like a dog and that you can't accidentally step on.

FYI - I'm Joyce Morgan's webmaser. The reason the Joyce Morgan websie is pink... It was originally created by duplicating a flyer for the center, which happened to have been photocopied onto, you guessed it, pink paper.
That color _is_ going to change to something better, but I haven't had time to revamp the site in months. (My home had major damage from a storm late last year, and most of my free time is now spent living like someone stuck in a Twilight Zone made up of This Old House reruns. ).
Joyce's center trains eveything from teacup poodles to Mastiffs. Haven't been able to get very many of the people who train their dogs to take the time to give me pictures and other info for the wesite, so the "Hall of Fame" doesn't yet represent the center's clients very well. They are _so_ focussed on their dogs, no time to brag.
I checked...the site is not pink anymore!
