Reexamining my tickets, I've discovered that we have to leave at 6:45for our trip to Europe - followed by a 6 hour layover in Newark! What was I thinking when I was booking this thing? I should have coughed up a little more money for the extra sleep.

However, it looks like there is a plethora of connections between EWR and Manhattan, se we might do a little side trip to the Big Apple.
